Sound Designer

Dan Moses Schreier is a sound designer and composer based in New York City. His designs on Broadway include The Iceman Cometh starring Denzel Washington, Duncan Sheik’s American Psycho, Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd, Pacific Overtures, Assassins, Into the Woods and Sondheim On Sondheim, Gypsy starring Patti LuPone, and the 50th anniversary production of West Side Story with Spanish lyrics by Linn-Manuel Miranda. His scores for Broadway include The Merchant of Venice starring Al Pacino, Julius Caesar starring Denzel Washington and The Tempest starring Patrick Stewart. Dan’s numerous awards include five Tony Award nominations, five Drama Desk Awards, an Obie Award for Sustained Excellence, Lucille Lortel Award and NAACP Theater Award. He is a Fellow of the MacDowell Colony.
